JPMorgan Chase – Trust and Estate Technology Team is seeking an AWS Software Engineer III-Full Stack/CoPilot to join an agile team delivering secure, scalable trust and estate applications. You will work across the stack, writing Java and React, and building cloud-native solutions on AWS.

Formación

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced skills in Java and React, with experience in Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Node and ReactJS.
• Familiarity with AWS or another public cloud provider.
• Strong coding fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, resilience, and security.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB, PL/SQL, ECS, and Splunk.

As an AWS Software Engineer III-Full Stack/CoPilot at JPMorgan Chase-Trust and Estate Technology Team, you will be part of an agile team that designs, builds, and delivers innovative solutions to support our clients’ trust and estate needs. You will work across the stack, leveraging modern technologies to create secure, scalable, and high-quality applications. As a key member of our engineering team, you will execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting for trust and estate applications.
• Write secure and high-quality code using Java and React, with limited guidance.
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, considering upstream and downstream system impacts.
• Apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle to improve automation and operational stability.
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize data from diverse sources to drive continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
• Proactively identify and solve technical problems, contributing to system architecture and coding hygiene.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
• Contribute to engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced skills in Java and React, with experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment, with hands-on skills in Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Node and ReactJS
• Intermediate-level familiarity with AWS or another public cloud provider.
• Strong coding fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, platform engineering).
• Highly proficient hands-on skills in Oracle DB, and PL/SQL.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ECS, Splunk, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with agentic AI or AI-driven solutions.
• Familiar with LLMs, GitHub CoPilot for building and maintaining robust applications

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Familiarity with test-driven development and unit/UI test frameworks such as Junit, Jest and Selenium.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code and API development in the context of public cloud.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and modern front-end technologies.
• AWS certification.
• Experience in financial services or trust and estate domains.
