Job summary

Google LLC in Boulder, CO is seeking a software engineer to develop scalable systems and contribute across the full stack. You will design, write, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for high-impact projects powering billions of users.

You will manage priorities, collaborate across teams, and participate in design reviews while driving quality and performance improvements. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with preferred advanced degrees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience programming in C++, Python, or Java.
• 2 years of experience with front-end frameworks, full-stack development, or API development.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred; advanced degrees considered.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
• Proficiency in code health, diagnosis, resolution, and software test engineering.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in, or lead, design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (style, testing, efficiency).
• Contribute to documentation or educational content and adapt content to product updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/resolve by analyzing sources of issues and impact on hardware, network, or service operations.
