Pearson is seeking a Software Engineer to help design, implement, test, and deliver a new web platform. You will work with new tech stacks, AI-driven processes, and cloud-based tools in AWS, while collaborating with customers and domain experts to deliver robust software solutions.

A strong background in full-stack development and data science is preferred. You will be expected to learn rapidly, adapt processes, and contribute to software quality, security, and verifiability, with

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS or equivalent or on-the-job training
• Willingness to learn new technologies and domains (R, data science, agentic AI)
• 3–5 years of full-stack software development experience
• Experience with development, maintenance and testing following best practices
• Experience with highly available, highly concurrent cloud-based web apps
• Background in statistics is a plus
• AWS-hosted applications experience
• R and R data science libraries
• Github and Github-driven CI/CD
