Job summary

IDEMIA Public Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable applications for identity workflows. You will work across frontend and backend, integrating hardware and real-time systems, with modern web technologies and secure authentication.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with React and/or Angular.
• Proven ability to design and ship scalable APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with real-time systems (WebSocket or similar).
• Solid understanding of SQL databases and data modeling.
• Familiarity with modern system design (microservices, layered architecture).

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable client and web applications using .NET, React, and/or Angular
• Develop backend services and APIs for high-throughput, real-time systems
• Implement WebSocket-based communication for live data capture and device interaction
• Integrate external devices through clean, extensible abstraction layers
• Drive architecture decisions across frontend, backend, and distributed systems
• Build secure authentication flows using OAuth2/OIDC and JWT
• Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments

What You’ll Do
