The Toro Company is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, test, and maintain software across cloud, mobile, web, desktop, and embedded platforms based in Riverside, CA. You will work under general supervision to deliver product features and system enhancements while adhering to engineering standards.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to automated tests and continuous delivery efforts in an Agile environment.

Toro's Irrigation and Lighting business is located in Riverside, CA. The Toro Company's irrigation business is comprised of two distinct brands, Toro® and Irritrol®. The Software Engineer II designs, develops, tests, and maintains software solutions that support Toro's connected irrigation and lighting products. Working under general supervision, this role contributes to the delivery of product features, system enhancements, and defect resolution across cloud, mobile, web, desktop, and embedded software platforms.
Established engineering practices to solve moderately complex technical problems, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and participate throughout the software development lifecycle. This position is expected to work independently on assigned work while seeking guidance on larger architectural or product decisions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
