Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help build a new generic platform using the latest AWS technologies.

You will design and implement scalable, serverless features, and work with teams across the company on high-impact, distributed systems. The role emphasizes design, reliability, and scaling, with opportunities to tackle billions of transactions in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• In this role you will work with team to build the new generic platform by using latest AWS technologies.
• You will solve interesting technical challenges with creative ideas in the domain combined by event driven application and Serverless technologies.
