Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer II for the SMGS Planning Tools team to build scalable solutions enabling the field to manage operations efficiently.

You will contribute to defining and building the next GTM platform for AWS Sales, partnering with teams to deliver critical capabilities and embed best practices throughout our stack. The role emphasizes solving large-scale business challenges in a startup-like environment and encourages applicants with diverse experiences

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis, design, and development of applications with necessary customization.
• Participate in planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements and translate into well-architecture solutions.
• Support cross-systems and related integrations across Sales Planning Domain.
• Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues.
• Research and apply AWS best practices to improve productivity, scaling, and monitoring.
