Job summary

A leading technology services firm in Maryland is looking for a Software Engineer to develop and maintain complex software systems. The role requires experience with C, Python, and Unix shell scripting, as well as familiarity with Docker and Apache Airflow. Candidates should hold a Master’s or Bachelor's degree in computer science and possess a TS/SCI clearance. Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly.
• Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes.
• Seven years of experience as Software Engineer in similar scope.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, document, maintain, and enhance software systems.
• Create and maintain data workflows and automation pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers and stakeholders.

Skills

Software development using languages such as C, C++, Python, Ruby, Perl, JavaScript

Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools

Ability to perform shell scripting

Experience using Git Source Control System

Experience using Apache Airflow

Software development using continuous integration practices

Education

Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline
