Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience; or Master’s degree in a related field with 0 years of relevant work experience; or 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree.
  • Current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher at the time of application, which is required to start.
  • Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start.
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs.
  • Effective communication with excellent writing and presentation skills; proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.
  • Experience coding in Python and Java, as well as scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell.
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable DevOps solutions and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation, reliability, and system performance.
  • Design, build, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and related tooling.
  • Develop software using Python, Java, Bash, and PowerShell; write clean, testable code.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Software-defined Networking (SDN) for network optimization.
  • Create and maintain documentation for pipelines, architecture, configuration, and tooling.
  • Enhance automation scripts and services to improve DevOps workflows.
  • May support critical activities outside standard business hours; evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Perform other required tasks as assigned by the program.

It serves as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations, both globally and regionally, to improve performance.
