Job summary

Meazure Learning seeks a Software Engineer II to design, build, and maintain cloud-based and web applications using Python, Go, C#, .NET, and JavaScript. You will participate in Agile/Scrum teams, write clean code, and contribute to scalable, customer-facing software with strong UX.

The role requires a Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience and hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, FastAPI, Docker, and microservices; telecommuting is possible with occasional on-site work in McLean,

Qualifications

• Master’s or equivalent degree in computer science or related technical field and 2 years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience with Go, Python, C#, .NET, Angular, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with FastAPI and SQLAlchemy; cloud services (AWS/Azure); containerization (Docker, ECS, Fargate); serverless (CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Knowledge of microservices, testing (Pytest, Jest), and queues (Nats, Celery).

• Design, develop, test, and maintain innovative customer-facing software products encompassing a highly intuitive user experience.

• FastAPI web framework and SQL toolkit including SqlAlchemy.
• Cloud Computing services such as AWS and Azure.
• Version control concepts and best practices.
• Database design and management for relational and non-relational dbs including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
• Message and task queue tools including Nats and Celery.
• Unit test frameworks including Pytest and Jest.
• Microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Containerization technologies such as Docker, AWS ECS, and Fargate.
• Serverless technologies, such as CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, AWS Lambda, Load Balancer.
• May telecommute and report as needed to Mclean, VA office.
