Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Software Engineer to build high-performing fintech applications powering a global B2B payments platform. You will work with Angular, TypeScript, AWS, and Kubernetes, solving complex technical challenges and influencing product direction.

You will collaborate with distributed teams, implement secure services, and contribute to a scalable, maintainable codebase while growing your skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional software development experience or equivalent
• Experience building modern, secure, maintainable, high-performance software
• Familiarity with APIs and external web services integration
• Proficient in Java / SpringBoot and cloud platforms such as AWS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable fintech services

What will I be doing?

• Designing and implementing secure and scalable fintech services to support multiple financial products
• Monitoring and maintaining high-availability services to support critical fintech service functions
• Implementing automated unit and integration testing
• Maintaining a production CI/CD pipeline for modern web applications
• Collaborating with engineering, product management, internal stakeholders, designers, and our clients to deliver on our commitments
• Empowering and coaching your teammates

What do I need to succeed?

• 3+ years professional experience OR B.S. in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work as an active member of a distributed development team
• Demonstrated experience building modern, secure, maintainable, and high-performance software
• Understanding of and experience integrating with APIs and external web services
• Proficiency in Java / SpringBoot frameworks
• Experience with AWS or Heroku cloud platforms a plus
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deploying to a cloud platform
• Experience with distributed systems
• Fintech experience will help but is not required. We are complex, which is fun!
