Identity Digital is seeking a Software Engineer II to design and build production features for its TLD Registry Platform. You will work with experienced engineers to create scalable, reliable software and tackle challenging technical problems across time zones.

The role involves ownership of design and delivery, collaboration with a strong team, and leveraging AWS services and modern tooling to ensure high quality, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or related field; MS preferred.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.

As a Software Engineer II, you will independently drive and build production features for Identity Digital's Top Level Domain (TLD) Registry Platform. Demonstrating strong self-motivation and initiative, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to design, build, and test scalable, reliable software systems by converting complex technical challenges into robust, production-ready solutions.

This role reports to the Sr. Director, Software Engineering.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement software solutions for business features using C#, .NET, Python, and microservices architecture
• Take proactive ownership and full accountability for your assigned design and delivery tasks
• Leverage modern AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate high-quality software delivery
• Collaborate with a high-performing team committed to engineering excellence and continuous improvement
• Implement AWS-based solutions leveraging services such as Aurora PostgreSQL, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Glue, Step Functions, Flink, and Paimon
• Build and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code for reliable production deployments
• Ensure system reliability through thorough unit and integration testing strategies

Who You Are / What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong CS fundamentals and object-oriented programming (OOP) experience (such as C# .NET, Java, or similar languages)
• Solid proficiency in SQL and relational data design
• Sound intuition and technical judgement for making efficient and effective decisions to consistently deliver trusted software solutions
• Proficient in troubleshooting complex technical problems
• Self-directed problem solver with strong initiative and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization as needed
• Reliable transportation to the workplace

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Salary Range

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $107,000 - $139,000 (flexibility based on experience) plus benefits as described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate’s qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.

US team members (and their spouses, domestic partners, and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance which includes company contributions to a Health Savings Accounts. Team members are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, team members can enroll in the company's 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. You receive 15 days of paid vacation yearly, increasing to 20 days after one year. Additionally, you get 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 20 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents, 12 weeks for others. Also, there's an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for qualifying expenses.
