Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking an entry-level software engineer responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting the project's software suite. You will implement, test, and integrate with other COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.

Required qualifications include a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph, U.S. citizenship, and degrees in CS with related experience. The role emphasizes Linux, Java, Spring, NoSQL, container tech, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Scripting experience with Bash and Python.
• Recent Java software development experience.
• Proficiency in the Spring Framework (Spring Boot/Data/Integration).
• Experience with MongoDB NoSQL.
• Experience with Docker and containers.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with messaging frameworks like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Bamboo, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with IaC (Ansible).
• Experience with Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and troubleshoot the project’s software suite.
