Job summary

True Anomaly in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join our growing team. This role focuses on manual and automated testing across the full stack, contributing to product quality within the software lifecycle and collaborating with developers in a fast-paced space tech environment.

This is a 3-month temporary engagement with potential conversion based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field/equivalent education is required.
• 0-2 years experience in software QA/testing (internships included).
• General understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and Agile processes.
• Basic understanding of coding languages (preferred JavaScript).
• Familiarity with Jira ticketing and Git.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Strong communication skills.
• U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated test cases against a full stack software.
• Document and report software defects within the software lifecycle in Jira.
• Participate in an agile team sprint planning/stand ups.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and reproduce issues.
• Assist in maintaining a growing test repository of manual and automated scripts within Playwright framework.
• Continuous contribution to QA standards and testing processes.

COMPENSATION

• Base Salary: Denver: $70,000; Long Beach: $80,000

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work Location —this role will be onsite at either our Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA location, with travel to other sites as needed.
• Work environment —the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person’s working conditions while performing the job.
• Physical demands —the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.
