Job summary

HTU is seeking software engineers, including recent graduates or those with internship, co-op, or substantial project experience, to join a team building robust backend services. You will leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate debugging, learning, and productivity, while contributing to partner inventory ingestion, synchronization, and marketplace publishing.

The role emphasizes strong CS fundamentals, experience in at least one backend language, and familiarity with APIs and AI platforms like

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with at least one backend language such as Java, Python or Go.
• Familiarity with building or consuming APIs and AI platforms/LLM frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Use AI-assisted development tools to support debugging, learning, documentation, and developer productivity.
• Implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes in backend services supporting partner inventory ingestion, synchronization, and marketplace publishing.
• Learn and apply distributed systems concepts such as event-driven architectures, APIs, and data processing pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, pairing sessions, and team collaboration.
• Contribute to improving partner-facing APIs, error handling, and internal tooling.
• Learn to diagnose production issues using logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
