Job summary

OneStream is seeking a Software Engineer I to design, develop, and maintain Marketplace and Platform solutions for the OneStream XF CPM. You will work with a focused engineering team, report to the Director of Solution Engineering, and contribute to high-quality, scalable software across modern Microsoft technologies.

The role emphasizes code quality, performance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
• 3+ years programming experience.
• Recent Microsoft technology focus.
• Experience with VB .Net, C#, Visual Basic, SQL Server, Visual Studio, TFS, Git, and Atlassian.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum Development Methodologies.

Summary

The Software Engineer I on the Marketplace Engineering or Platform Engineering team designs, develops and maintains MarketPlace (App Store) solutions for the OneStream XF CPM and coordinates with the rest of the team working on different layers of infrastructure. This position requires strong knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts and best practices. The Software Engineer is expected to work well in a focused group of engineers. The position reports to the Director of Solution Engineering and will interact with team members and other engineering teams. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.

• Experience with the following technologies: VB .Net, C#, Visual Basic, SQL Server, Visual Studio, TFS, Git, and Atlassian.

• Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Highly self‑motivated and directed.

• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming.

• Skill for writing reusable libraries.

• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum Development Methodologies.

• Ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Experience with Consolidation Software, such as:

• OneStream XF.

• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

• SAP BOFC (Cartesis).

• SAP Outlooksoft BPC.

• IBM Cognos.
• Tagetik.
• Other EPM solutions.

Total compensation is based on experience, skills, and location using objective, job-related criteria. Additional variable compensation and benefits may apply.

Gross annual base salary

$99,000—$128,500 USD
