Job summary

Macloudus is seeking a Software Engineer I to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software for enhancements and new products, under minimal supervision.

You will manage the full development life cycle from concept through testing, and prepare systems programming tests.

This role also involves coaching colleagues in less senior positions, with potential for remote work within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3 years of qualifying work experience in IT or engineering.
• Experience with full implementation of Java based environments is desirable.
• Experience building Microservices and APIs is preferred.

About the job

Under minimal supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Responsible for complex concept design through the full development life cycle. Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests. Coaches others in less senior positions.

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.

Domicile / Relocation Information:

• This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
