Job summary

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a Software Engineer I to join the GEO Team, bringing strong Java experience and familiarity with MapReduce, Cloud technologies, GhostMachine and QTA. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing analytics-oriented software systems handling large data and real-time processing.

The candidate should have seven years of SWE experience in similar programs, with a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications

• Seven years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity are required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• Four additional SWE years of experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Ability to analyze requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Ability to design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Ability to debug, integrate, and test software components.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer I to join our team!
This opportunity is in support of the GEO Team, sourcing for a candidate with strong Java experience as well as experience with MapReduce, Cloud experience, GhostMachine and QTA.
The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. They will work individually or as part of a team; review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results; resolve software problem report; utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment; and provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

• Seven (7) years' experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
• Ability to:
