Job summary

S&S Activewear, the leading nationwide distribution company in the apparel and fashion industry, is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our growing Software Engineering Team to help build and evolve our highly transactional eCommerce platforms and core business systems.

In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance scalable, high-performance applications and APIs using C# and modern .NET technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET (Core or later).
• Hands-on experience with UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Blazor, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript and CSS for responsive UIs.
• Experience in API design and development (REST, JSON).
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• 20% maintenance and 80% new development
• Design, build, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET, and Razor/Blazor.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs to support integrations with e-commerce platforms, customer systems, and internal applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Proactively test and optimize applications to eliminate defects, improve performance, and ensure a smooth user experience. Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and peer reviews.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability through code optimization, caching strategies, and other techniques.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing applications to ensure reliability and performance.
