Job summary

Podium is building an AI employee ecosystem for local business, and we’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who thinks like a product owner. You’ll own features end-to-end, influence architecture, and collaborate with product, design and business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

This role is local to Lehi, UT and requires in-office presence five days a week. You’ll work with Elixir/Phoenix, React, Python, and PostgreSQL, leveraging AI tooling to move quickly and deliver real business

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and shipping production systems.
• Hands-on with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).
• Ability to influence architecture and work with product, design, and business stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be local and available to work in-office, 5 days per week in Lehi, UT HQ.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who’s excited about AI and thinks like a product owner. Someone who is scrappy, opinionated, and energized by building from zero to one in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You care more about what ships than what stack you’re shipping on, and you use AI tooling (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) as a genuine force multiplier, not a novelty. At Podium, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that directly shape the success of our platform and the businesses we support.

What You Will Be Doing:

You'll own features end-to-end, from the first design conversation to production. You'll influence architecture, collaborate closely with product, design and business stakeholders, and help keep our systems reliable as we scale. You'll also invest in the people around you: sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and raising the team's collective ceiling. Contributing to a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement, while staying ahead of trends in AI.

What You Should Have:

• 4+ years building and shipping production systems, full stack.
• Strong user mindset and problem solving skills, with a track record of carrying out innovative solutions in fast-paced, impact oriented environments.
• A hands-on, daily relationship with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) - you've figured out how to move meaningfully faster with them.
• Demonstrates a strong bias for action and deep intellectual curiosity, proactively exploring emerging technologies and unfamiliar domains.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, seeking clarity whenever needed.
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and tackle ambiguous problems head-on.
• Must be local and available to work in-office, 5 days per week in our Lehi, UT HQ.

What We Hope You Have:

• 4+ years of experience contributing to systems that drive real impact.
• Experience at a fast-moving startup or SaaS company.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams to create and refine impactful solutions.
• Exposure to our current stack (Elixir/Phoenix, React, Python, PostgreSQL) and AI technologies, or genuine curiosity to pick it up fast.
