Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA is seeking software engineers for the AWS Global Accelerator data plane.

You will design, develop, and maintain a packet processor that routes and load-balances every packet at AWS edge locations. You will mentor teammates, contribute to distributed systems, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable networking features for AWS customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for systems.
• Experience programming with at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Design for new systems from scratch or improving existing systems and own the technical direction for the initiative from start to finish.
• Mentor and guide the team members to solve complex problems with simple solutions.
• Drive the big ideas to improve availability and performance of AGA Data Plane - How we route packets within the service towards our customer endpoints.
• Develop high quality testable and maintainable software and participate in code reviews.
