Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support a mission-critical GEOINT program for an Intelligence Community customer. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering cloud-native software with secure, containerized microservices and RESTful APIs across the stack.

You will use Python/JavaScript/Java, modern front-end and back-end frameworks, and cloud services (AWS/Azure). A TS/SCI clearance is required, and familiarity with RMF/STIGs is a plus.

Qualifications

• This role requires active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience across full software development lifecycle in cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy modern software solutions for GEOINT missions.
• Build secure, containerized microservices and RESTful APIs using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, React, Node.js, and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with product managers and users in Agile sprints; participate in DevSecOps pipelines and security reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews to ensure best practices and accreditation standards.

North Point Technology is looking to hire a Full Stack Software Engineer to support a mission-critical GEOINT program for an Intelligence Community customer. The qualified candidate must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and will design, develop, and deliver modern, cloud-native software solutions that enable national security missions. The ideal candidate has an excellent understanding of the full software development lifecycle and exceptional coding skills across front-end interfaces, backend services, and secure cloud integrations in support of the mission.

Responsibilities:

• This position spans the full software development lifecycle, building and delivering innovative capabilities that support GEOINT data access, visualization, and dissemination. Duties include designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions; building and maintaining secure, containerized microservices and RESTful APIs with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, React, Node.js, and Spring Boot; participating in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives; supporting DevSecOps pipelines while meeting security and accreditation standards; collaborating with mission users and product managers to refine requirements; performing code reviews and mentoring fellow developers; and resolving prioritized tasks alongside internal teams at North Point Technology.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Security+, or SAFe Practitioner
