Job summary

Heartflow is seeking a Frontend Software Developer in San Francisco to build advanced web applications that support coronary artery disease diagnosis and management. You will own frontend design, development, testing, and deployment of customer‑facing apps, collaborating with API teams, Product, QA, and UI/UX to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience at a software company.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with modern frontend technologies (Vue.js, JavaScript, React, Angular).
• Demonstrated experience in building and deploying large‑scale, customer‑facing web applications.

• Design and Develop: Independent, end-to-end ownership of the design, development, testing, and maintenance of robust customer-facing interactive web applications. Make data-driven decisions while practicing creative problem solving.
• Collaboration: Work closely with API teams, Product, QA, and UI/UX to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of web applications.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and user experience. Build for scalability, observability, and security.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for medical software, including documentation, quality assurance processes, and adherence to regulatory standards in web application development.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant industry experience at a software company, in software development
• Technical Proficiency: 3+ years of hands‑on experience with modern frontend technologies (e.g., Vue.js, JavaScript, React, Angular)
• Project Experience: Demonstrated experience in building and deploying large‑scale, customer‑facing web applications.
• Problem‑Solving Skills: Strong problem solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $130,000 to $175,000, cash bonus, and equity.
