Job summary

LoadUp Technologies is hiring a Front-End Software Engineer (React Native) onsite in Alpharetta, GA. You will design, build, and maintain mobile apps, collaborating with backend teams to deliver performant user experiences across iOS and Android.

The role emphasizes modern JS/TS, state management, testing, and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining code quality.

Qualifications

• Proven production mobile apps built with React Native; native module integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain mobile apps using React Native for iOS and Android.

ABOUT THE ROLE (Onsite - Alpharetta, GA)

We are seeking a Front-End Software Engineer skilled in React Native to join our mobile engineering team. This role will focus on designing and delivering performant, accessible, and maintainable mobile experiences that integrate with our cloud-native platform. You will work closely with product, backend engineers, and design to ship high-quality releases and iterate quickly on customer-facing features.

The ideal candidate combines strong front-end fundamentals with pragmatic engineering judgment and experience using modern development workflows and tools, including AI-augmented coding assistants.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design, build, and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.

• Create clean, maintainable, and well-tested UI components with a focus on performance and accessibility.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to design efficient APIs and data synchronization strategies (REST, GraphQL, or real-time transports).

• Implement state management solutions (Redux, Context, Recoil, or similar) and optimize for offline and low-bandwidth scenarios.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds, distribution, and automated testing.

• Work with QA and design to ensure comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and consistent UX across devices.

• Leverage analytics and monitoring tools to measure performance, error rates, and user behavior; act on findings to improve app quality.

• Follow security best practices for mobile applications and protect user data.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 4+ years of professional experience building mobile applications.

• Proven experience building production mobile apps with React Native, including native module integration when required.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, modern ES features, and component-driven UI development.

• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context, Recoil) and asynchronous data flows.

• Familiarity with native iOS/Android build processes, debugging, and performance tuning.

• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or similar).

• Practical knowledge of testing strategies for mobile apps: unit tests, component tests, and end-to-end test suites.

• Experience with analytic tools and crash reporting (Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics, Amplitude, or similar).

• Demonstrated use of AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate development while maintaining high quality.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with an ownership mindset and attention to detail.
