Job summary

Election Systems & Software is seeking a Software Engineer in Information Systems to design and implement software applications and ERP configurations. You will work in a cross-functional team using Agile methodologies to deliver solutions for business users.

The role requires a BS in computer science and experience in object-oriented programming, REST API development, and SQL/PLSQL. You will contribute to the development of REST endpoints and QA testing as part of a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science required.
Proficiency in at least one programming language and OOP.
Experience with SSIS and SSRS and REST API development.

Responsibilities

Create developments in multiple languages to help build larger applications
QA testing and debugging of the produced code
Development of applications and REST API endpoints
Troubleshoot system issues and provide explanations to software issues
Effectively communicate with functional analysts to help provide technical solutions
Read, write and understand functional and technical specification documents
Effectively follow logic, read code samples, and provide common language pseudocode
Provide regular updates with respect to progress on tasks and projects.
