U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Software Engineer - DevOps (Multiple openings) in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain pipeline automation using CloudBees/Jenkins, including scripted, declarative, and multi-branch pipelines with Groovy scripting.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Automation: Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment across GCP, AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments using scripting/tooling to eliminate manual work.
• Kubernetes Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and optimize services on Kubernetes clusters (via Rancher) across cloud, virtual, and on-prem environments, including container orchestration and performance tuning.
• Monitoring & Production Support: Monitor service health (CPU, memory, traffic, requests/responses) using Kibana, Splunk, and AppDynamics; provide on-call support for SSL errors, build failures, application issues, and firewall problems.
• Release Management & Security: Manage software releases, versioning, and artifact management using Agile/Scrum coordination, while developing and configuring services following security best practices.

Basic Qualifications

This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Technology and two years of DevOps engineering experience in the banking / finance industry.

Required Skills/Experience

• Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipeline automation features.
• 2) Automating configuration for public cloud (Google GCP, Amazon AWS, or Microsoft Azure cloud) and on-prem deployments.
• 3) Designing, monitoring, and optimizing the performance of services/projects deployed on Kubernetes.
• 4) Developing and configuring services and systems using security best practices.
• 5) Working with Cloudbees (Jenkins) tool to implement continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery of the Application.

Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program.

Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location.

Pay Range: $116,896 - $136,500.
