Responsibilities:
- We design, develop, test, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices.
- We create software components and service interactions that meet scalability, maintainability, and reliability needs.
- We implement enhancements, new functionality, and defect resolutions across Notification Manager services.
- We take part in technical design discussions and turn requirements into working software.
- We write clean, maintainable, and secure code aligned with our engineering standards.
- We build and maintain automated unit, integration, and API tests.
- We contribute to modern event‑driven architectures using Kafka and distributed processing patterns.
- We help shape system architecture and technical designs that support scale, resilience, and long‑term evolution.
- We support platform modernization efforts, including service decomposition, resiliency improvements, performance optimization, and cloud‑native deployment practices.
- We help reduce technical debt and improve operational efficiency across the platform.
- We participate in production support, incident response, and root cause analysis.
- We monitor system health using observability tools and metrics.
- We analyze application performance and implement improvements to enhance throughput, latency, scalability, and resource efficiency.
- We troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and data‑related issues.
- We support release activities and production readiness efforts.
- We contribute to operability practices that strengthen reliability, monitoring, and supportability.
- We work closely with engineers, QA, PMTs, TPMs, and partner teams to deliver roadmap commitments.
- We participate in Agile ceremonies, elaboration sessions, estimation, and backlog refinement.
- We join peer code reviews to uphold code quality, maintainability, security, and engineering standards.
- We contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
- We assist and mentor junior engineers where appropriate.
