Job summary

SkillStorm offers a paid, 12-week training program and immediate deployment to enterprise or government clients in Houston after completion. You must have a technical bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience, with fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, databases, SQL, and Java or C#.

Candidates should be eligible for U.S. government security clearance and be willing to relocate for client placements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• At least 1 year of technical work experience.
• Proficiency in programming fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, databases, SQL.
• Experience with Java or C#.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve applications using client languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑organized code that meets professional standards.
• Troubleshoot and fix defects, and provide technical support and resolution.
• Take part in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Turn business requirements into technical specifications with stakeholders.
• Support testing and production deployments and maintain documentation.
• Stay current on industry tools and techniques through ongoing training.
