The Role and Impact As a Software Application Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging software applications used by end-users or integrated with other applications by ISVs. You will work across the full application stack, focusing on both frontend and backend development with modern programming languages and secure coding practices. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug software applications for end-users or integrated with third-party applications.
• Contribute to both frontend and backend development using modern software methodologies and programming languages.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 1+ years of hands-on experience in software development OR a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with no prior professional experience.
• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Perl.
• Familiarity with Linux shells and command-line interfaces (CLI).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industry-standard tools such as Ansible, Cobbler, Containers, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems (preferably SUSE).
• Exposure to continuous monitoring solutions like Elastic, Kibana, and Grafana.
• Basic understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S.
• Familiarity with static typed programming languages such as Java or C++.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $100,550.00-141,950.00 USD. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
