Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Science preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience implementing high-performance, high-availability software.
• Experience with Java/Android, Objective-C, and front-end technology stacks.
• Strong communication skills and interest in pair programming.
• Knowledge on APIs versioning and Web Services.
• User-centric/customer-centric focus with agile mindset and learning drive.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced software applications.
• Build on platforms including iOS, Android, and web apps.
• Communicate regularly and write clean code.
• Review, analyze and resolve application issues as needed.
• Evaluates strategies and makes recommendations on changes and improvements.
• Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of new functionalities on the different platforms.
• Consult with other team members and implement solutions aligned with departmental visions.
• Continuously learn and keep up to date with emerging technologies to evaluate impact to business and member value.
• Participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (pre-iteration, iteration, retrospectives).
• Position requires a high degree of independent decision making and problem solving skills.
• Regularly make decisions involving the direction of projects.
