CoStar Group is hiring a Software Engineer for the CoStar Suite in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on building high-performance web applications used by thousands of users globally, with opportunities to influence CI/CD and to mentor teammates.

The position is onsite Monday–Thursday in Arlington, with an option to work from home on Fridays. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in modern web technologies, AWS experience, agile practices, and a drive to apply AI to improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited university or college.
• A track record of commitment to prior employers.
• 3+ years of production development experience in modern technologies such as React, Vue, TypeScript, NodeJS, C#, .Net, OpenSearch, Kafka, SQL and NoSQL.

About the Role

As CoStar’s next Software Engineer, you will have a direct impact on highly visible CoStar Suite web applications that touch millions of users. You continuously learn emerging technologies and architecture advancements and apply the learnings to improve CoStar’s software products.

This position is located in Arlington, VA and is onsite Monday – Thursday, with the option to work from home on Friday.

• Develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the CRE Industry and CoStar’sbusiness model / technology

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit, in-person university or college.

• A track record of commitment to prior employers

• 3+ years of production developmentexperience inmoderntechnologies, like React, Vue, TypeScript,NodeJS, C#, .Net, OpenSearch, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL

• A demonstrable track record of building and launching successful products and platforms

• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Cloud Managed Services, etc.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum processes, and Continuous delivery practices

• Experienced in unit, performance, and automation testing

• Experience leveraging AI to improve productivity

• Deeply understand what drives the business for which you are building software

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Experience managing a large Enterprise level code base, code quality and dependencies

• Experience with React and/or Nodejs in particular

• Experience implementing AI powered product features

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Commercial Real Estate(CRE)knowledge is a bonus

The final salary or hourly rate offered for this role will fall within the range set forth below based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.

Base Compensation: $103,000 - $154,000 Annually
