NetApp is seeking a Continuous Product Engineering (Sustaining Engineering) professional to diagnose and solve customer-reported problems in ONTAP within a GDC context. You will work with NetApp ONTAP, the leading storage operating system, and collaborate with senior engineers to address customer needs across Google Cloud and multi-vendor environments.
This role involves debugging complex filesystem issues, analyzing logs and memory dumps, and developing fixes or enhancements to ONTAP.
Assists in the design, definition, development, and test of the cloud computing applications development. Collaborates with senior engineers to ensure that internal and external clients' needs are met.
Continuous Product Engineering (Sustaining Engineering) position to diagnose, reproduce and identify solutions to customer reported problems with NetApp products in a GDC context.
You will work with NetApp ONTAP, the number one storage operating system on the planet. Problem areas include NetApp hardware, software and multi-vendor interoperability.
This could be the right job for you if you enjoy solving puzzles working "under the covers" of complex systems to understand how they behave and digging into low level operating system code to find and fix product deficiencies. You will also collaborate with support and development engineers to improve the supportability, resiliency and functionality of NetApp ONTAP.
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 2 years of experience, a Master’s Degree; or equivalent experience is typically required.
The target salary range for this position is 113,050 - 168,300 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
