We are a team of full-stack and backend developers building an amazing platform that delivers personalized, data driven experiences.# **Responsibilities*** **Ship Scalable Features:** Design, build, and test high-quality components powering Verily’s data-driven health platforms.* **Optimize System Reliability:** Diagnose and eliminate complex software defects, prioritizing root-cause fixes over temporary patches.* **Own Project Delivery:** Drive features autonomously from concept to execution, creating structured development plans and timelines.* **Collaborate Cross-Functionally:** Partner across engineering and product teams to define requirements and architect innovative solutions.* **Scale Your Impact:** Master ambiguous problem spaces, generating technical ideas that expand your scope beyond just writing code.# **Qualifications**Minimum Qualifications* BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software development.* 3+ years of experience as a software developer in an industry setting.* 2+ years of experience experience with React.* Expertise in building software and systems on any of: GCP, AWS or Azure (GCP preferred).Preferred Qualifications* Demonstrated experience with Go, TypeScript, and/or SQL.* Experience with designing and implementing scalable data processing pipelines with BigQuery or other analytics-oriented databases.* Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHIR.* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.Qualified applicants must not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000- $192,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
