Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Software Engineer to join our global Enterprise Technology team in the United States. You will design and build web services, APIs and microservices, while collaborating with product teams to ensure seamless integrations, testing and deployments.

You will translate business requirements into detailed specifications and uphold engineering excellence, with opportunities to grow by learning from senior engineers and applying modern QoS and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years with progressive responsibilities in Software Engineering, Architecture and Agile Framework.
• 3+ years with Core Java, Spring Boot, frontend frameworks such as React.js / Angular.
• 3+ years with relational and non-relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop webservices, webpages, APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate with product teams on integrations, testing, and deployments.
• Translate business requirements into detailed specifications.
• Ensure software engineering excellence within the product team.
• Collaborate with other product teams to reduce complexity and improve interoperability.
• Innovate with an iterative, agile and user-centric perspective.
• Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct code and architecture reviews with other engineers.
