DoorDash, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure in New York, NY. Join a team building a reliable, 24x7 global cloud platform that powers DoorDash’s on-demand logistics engine.

You will design and operate multi-cloud foundations, drive cost efficiency, and mentor engineers to scale platform solutions across teams. This hybrid role is based in NYC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS (IAM, Organizations, VPC, S3, ECR, etc.) and GCP is a plus.
• Experience with cloud networking primitives like VPC, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway and VPC peering.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling like Terraform and GitOps workflows such as Atlantis or ArgoCD.
• Experience with Go and Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Ability to take ambiguous problems to well-paved solutions adopted across teams.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools in the full software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own the paved path for cloud at DoorDash: self-service tooling to simplify secure, cost-efficient usage.
• Partner with product and platform teams to unblock complex cloud use-cases and turn recurring ones into platform products.
• Drive cloud-wide initiatives such as multi-cloud, cost efficiency, and security posture across DoorDash.
• Set technical direction for the team and mentor engineers across the company.
• Improve productivity and operations through automation and AI tooling.
• Participate in a shared support rotation.

Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location.
