Job summary

Altamira Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer / Software Developer for the NGA RDC Team in the Dayton, Ohio area. The role emphasizes full-stack development, cloud hosting, and image processing expertise to support national security missions.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of software experience, Python proficiency, and a strong background in AWS-like cloud environments, CI/CD, and collaborative problem solving within a DoD/Intel context. A TS/SCI clearance with poly is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience in design, modification, and implementation.
• Experience with Python coding and cloud-based hosting solutions.
• Experience leading end-to-end design of cloud-based tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with image processing, data exploitation, and analysis algorithms.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications.
• Lead end-to-end cloud tool design, scoping, and deployment.
• Collaborate with DoD/Intel domains and NGA requirements.
• Support automation, testing, and deployment processes.
