Job summary

Redolent Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Software Engineer for a Remote-Onshore CA position focused on Cloud, CDN, and JavaScript.

The role targets scaling large distributed systems and integrating with AWS Lambda, Cloudflare, and Google Cloud Functions. You will work with a globally distributed team, primarily during US Pacific hours, using Slack, email, and Zoom. The candidate should bring 7+ years of software development experience, strong JavaScript skills, and deep knowledge of CDNs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience building and running distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers, Google Cloud Functions, or a similar distributed computing platform.
• Experience with CDNs, especially Akamai and Cloudflare.
• 3+ years of experience writing JavaScript, or the ability to quickly learn it.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Drives technical vision and influences product roadmap and vision
• Implement large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects
• Leads the discovery phase of large projects to develop high level design

• Documents testing and maintenance of application corrections and improvements

TITLE: Software Engineer - Cloud / CDN / Javascript

LOCATION: Remote - Onshore - CA (Remote - Onshore - CA)

Duration: 6 to 12+ months

Rate: DOE

Walmart Global Tech is looking for Software Engineers to help our holiday traffic throttling project. Walmart sites experience enormous load during November sales events and other special events. Our team is building a distributed queue using edge computing to try to handle this load better. Help us design, build, test, and scale this unique system that will have a huge impact on Walmart's future business.

This is a remote role, not in the office. The team you are working with is distributed across the world, but the main working hours are US Pacific time. You will communicate via Slack, email, and Zoom meetings.
