You will develop data management systems, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and oversee edge data placement across distributed infrastructure while collaborating with product and engineering teams. This hybrid role offers a base salary of $157,000–$235,000 plus RSUs and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field plus 2 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building scalable backend services and distributed systems for global infrastructure.
• Experience improving software features and service performance for large-scale production systems.
• Experience enhancing deployment velocity and ensuring availability across globally distributed cache servers.
• Experience maintaining data pipelines and managing data placement in distributed edge locations.
• Automation and operational expertise to build, deploy, and maintain production systems.
• Programming languages: Java, Python, C++, Go.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong software engineering principles to design and develop scalable, reliable, end-to-end systems for data-driven workflows.
• Build and maintain backend infrastructure to support large-scale computation, deployment, and evaluation in the cloud and on mobile devices.
• Develop and maintain data management systems for scalable data collection, processing, and evaluation.
• Design, implement, and optimize backend services, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, including CI/CD improvements.
• Enhance deployment velocity and ensure high availability across globally distributed systems.
• Manage data pipelines and placement in edge locations to support computing services.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy and maintain production systems.
