Job summary

Omnissa is seeking a Software Engineer, C/C++ in Mountain View, CA to drive and deliver new features for Horizon Windows Agent and to identify enhancements across the product, tools, and processes. This role requires 5+ years of hands-on Windows C/C++ development, a strong background in enterprise software design, object-oriented and multi-threaded programming, and debugging skills.

What is the opportunity?

As a Software Engineer, C/C++ you will be responsible for the following:

• Driving and delivering new product features in Horizon Windows Agent.
• Identifying and implementing areas of enhancement for the existing product offering, tools and processes.
• Solving customer issues and escalations in the areas of ownership.

What will you bring to Omnissa?

• 5 or more years of hands-on experience in software development including writing code using C/C++ on Windows Platform
• Strong background in architecting and designing Enterprise software.
• Experience with object-oriented design, multi-threaded programming and debugging skills
• Passion for technology, accountability and dose of self-motivation
• Knowledge of OS internals and Single sign on technologies on Windows
• Experience in large, distributed software systems or Cloud Platform such as Azure or AWS
• Experience in practical use of AI technologies including its usage to accelerate productivity

Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

Compensation: The typical base salary for this role is between USD $150,825 - $251,375 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program. Actual compensation offer may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, or other relevant factors.
