Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is seeking a software development professional in Kansas to design, implement, and deploy software solutions for aerostructures applications.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment at Spirit’s Wichita facility.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• 3+ years of relevant software development experience using modern programing languages (for example, C#, Visual Studio, Java).

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with stakeholders to compile and maintain requirements.
• Perform weekly status review.
• Define schedule milestones based on customer needs.
• Provide regular progress report to leadership.
• Implement design changes/application updates.
• Assist in testing and deployment.
• Assist in providing training to the user group.
• Extend technical support to user group during the deployment phase.
