About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mission Software Engineer to join our dynamic Phantom Works Open Architecture Systems Integrated Software (OASIS) Solutions team located in Berkeley, MO. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software systems that meet stringent industry, safety, and regulatory standards. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and offers the chance to work on innovative projects that have a significant impact on national security and space exploration.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or related fields, along with substantial professional experience. Candidates must have an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. A minimum of five years of software engineering experience, particularly with C++ programming, is required. Experience with MATLAB, Agile development methodologies, and familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems are also essential. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, Top Secret clearance, knowledge of physics-based modeling software, and experience with DevSecOps practices. • Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the entire development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.

• Develop interface definitions and ensure seamless integration with other system components.

• Create comprehensive software documentation to facilitate future maintenance and upgrades.
