The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software systems that meet stringent industry, safety, and regulatory standards. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and offers the chance to work on innovative projects that have a significant impact on national security and space exploration.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or related fields, along with substantial professional experience. Candidates must have an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. A minimum of five years of software engineering experience, particularly with C++ programming, is required. Experience with MATLAB, Agile development methodologies, and familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems are also essential. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, Top Secret clearance, knowledge of physics-based modeling software, and experience with DevSecOps practices.
