Position Overview

Software Engineer – C#

Location: Tucson, AZ
Employment type: Direct hire, on-site

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate object‑oriented software applications using C# and C++ in a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Develop software requirements, architecture, and hardware interface solutions for complex engineering systems.
• Troubleshoot software applications, hardware interfaces, and test equipment instrumentation issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support system integration, testing, and product development.
• Lead technical efforts, mentor junior engineers, and support software development best practices.
• Utilize Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies while maintaining software configuration control through Azure DevOps or Git.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Strong experience developing object‑oriented applications using C# and/or C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Experience with computer hardware interfaces and communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, and RS‑422.
• Knowledge of software architecture, UML modeling, and software development life cycle.
• Experience with software configuration management tools such as Azure DevOps Server or Git.
