  • Create and maintain simulation models (such as plant, sensors and actuators, serial data communication, and controller models) for creating test environments.
  • Design HIL benches, including harness design, power requirements, and integration of key ECMs. Understanding of ISO SPI, CAN tools, and INCA.
  • Understand and apply Agile principles that support DFSS tools and methodologies. Incorporate Lean Manufacturing principles and thinking into daily processes as a HIL Engineer.
  • Partner closely with test environment users to root-cause issues, address unexpected test results, and resolve issues encountered during test execution.
  • Plan, communicate, and coordinate test environment strategy and model/hardware rollouts to support applications and features requested by the user community.
  • Support HIL benches and automated tools.
  • Work closely with sources of models and equipment to ensure common models and other simulation assets are shared across test environment domains and architectures.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, Software or Computer)
  • 4+ years of experience in design of models with controls theory and with real time simulation
  • 4+ years of experience in HIL design, troubleshooting and integration
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive engineering
