Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, implement, and operate our most critical and scalable services, including identity, friend graph, and core persistence layers.

You will work across teams to understand product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver robust solutions. You will test, debug, and maintain high-quality code, while applying best practices for availability, scalability, and cost.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position.
