Camunda is hiring a backend engineer to design and maintain data-layer services using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch. You will own end-to-end delivery of key engineering initiatives and participate in on-call rotations to ensure reliability.

Applicants should have 4+ years of experience with production data stores, query optimization, and strong remote collaboration skills to work with distributed teams.

• Requires at least 4 years of backend engineering experience with a focus on production data stores and query optimization.
• Proficient in at least one major relational database or search engine and capable of collaborating remotely.
