Qualificações

GN Hearing is a leading international developer and manufacturer of advanced hearing aids. We are currently searching for a Software Engineer to join our development team in Glenview, IL.

In this role you will design, develop, and maintain desktop software for the healthcare industry, ensuring high quality and user‑friendly applications that meet the needs of audiologists, product managers and stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Understand business needs in audiology.
• Design, create, and maintain high‑quality software.
• Create and manage tools to improve productivity.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the development life cycle.
• Perform validation and unit tests.
• Create and update documentation.

Requirements and Skills

• Prior experience and expertise in software development.
• Expertise in software design and architecture.
• Proficient in reviewing and debugging code.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Experience with Blazor, Razor, and Bootstrap is preferable.
• Experience with WPF and MVVM is advantageous.
• Proficient in Visual Studio, git, and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
• Experience with SAFe/Agile.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science.
• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience.
• Very strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
• Excellent coding skills and problem‑solving ability.
• Experience in web architecture.

The target annual compensation for this position ranges from $90,000.00 to $125,000.00, with a discretionary bonus for active employees.
