Job summary

Constellation Technologies is seeking a highly qualified software engineer to support federal contract obligations in Maryland. The role requires US citizenship, an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and a minimum of eight years of direct experience.

Candidates must hold a BS in computer science or related field and be proficient in Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Spark analytics, Jupyter Notebooks, NiFi, Elasticsearch and MongoDB, with experience in MapReduce and Maven.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with one or more object-oriented languages (Python, JAVA, C++)
• Experience with JavaScript and/or Spark analytics.
• Experience with Jupyter Notebooks and/or GHOSTMACHINE.
• Experience with NiFi, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.
• Experience with MapReduce
• Develop scripts and utilize frameworks to parse, normalize, process, and analyze collected structured data.
• Experience with Maven, Query Time Analytics, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of DataXplorer and experience working with geolocation data.
• Ability to leverage disparate data to fill knowledge gaps in user activities, collection efforts, and technology discovery.
• Ability to develop analytics based off artifacts, enrich data with various corporate sources, summarize data, and formulate results for downstream analytics and queries.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph.
• Eight (08) years of direct/relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
