PeopleTec, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer/Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL on-site location. The role focuses on managing software projects for the PEO M&S STORM PO SW Division, including development, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Responsibilities include agile support, reviews, risk management, cost/schedule/performance tracking, and ensuring timely milestones. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance and a BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Formación

• 5-8 years of experience in software engineering and related domains.
• Knowledge of software development processes and systems.
• Familiarity with STORM launchers integration testing.
• Understanding of Agile software development and SDLC.
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to brief status updates.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain DoD clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in agile events (sprint reviews, backlog grooming, sprint demonstrations).
• Review software documentation and perform code reviews.
• Support risk management, cost, schedule, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate across multiple teams and track contract deliverables.

Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Engineer / Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location. (ON SITE)

Responsibilities include supportof the PEO M&S STORM PO SW Division managing software projects to include:

• The support to acquisition of missile tactical software development
• Testing and the deployment/fielding of software versions
• Review of software documentation
• Software reviews
• Support agile events (sprint reviews, backlog grooming, sprint demonstrations, etc.)
• Azure DevOps experience
• DevSecOps project support
• Testing support (V&V)
• Candidate is expected to support all project milestone reviews
• Documentation reviews
• Software code reviews
• Tracking of contract deliverables
• Manage cost, schedule, and performance
• Tracking project metrics

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience
• Knowledge of software development process and systems process
• Use of Microsoft Project in the assessment of developed software schedules
• Management of software requirements
• Support to integration testing with STORM launchers
• Application of risk management tools to assess development and performance risks
• Support to budget analyst in cost determinations for tactical software projects
• Understanding of Agile software development processes
• Desired project management expertise
• Candidate must possess SW engineering expertise understanding the SDLC lifecycle and Agile practices.
• Candidate must be a team player and willing to work across multiple teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Develop and brief project presentations and status
• Travel: 10 %
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• BS degree Computer Science or equivalent years of experience.
