Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for Software Engineers (hiring junior level, mid-level, up to senior level) in our Intelligence Sector’s Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). Our team is at the forefront of Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods, Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management.
The Software Engineer will perform software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities as a member of an Agile development team building a large, complex enterprise system. Responsibilities include turning Agile user stories into implementable concepts, developing, unit testing, integrating, testing, and deploying new capabilities. Developers will follow Behavior‑driven Development (BDD), leverage DevOps automation, and use test‑automation tools where appropriate. Opportunities include server‑side business logic implementation, client‑side web applications, UI development with Java, Python, embedded C/C++, Java cryptographic framework, XML, Angular/JS/CSS/HTML, and device programming.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for software development activities individually and as an Agile team member. They will actively participate in daily stand‑ups, Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, analyze complex system requirements, use design software tools, support formal specifications, data‑flow diagrams, and enforce sound software engineering principles. They will provide process management, promote code reuse, create common functions, engineer automation scripts, and deploy them to test and production environments.
Pay Range: $131,300.00 – $237,350.00. This is a general guideline only.
