Job summary

Google in San Jose, CA is seeking a Software Engineer focused on AI/ML, computer vision, and XR. You will work on depth estimation pipelines for Android XR headsets and smart glasses, designing energy-efficient, low-latency algorithms and end-to-end deployment.

The role requires 2+ years in ML infrastructure and software engineering with C++ and Python, plus a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Strong collaboration with Product/UX is essential.

  • 2 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience in 3D reconstruction.
  • Detailed understanding of mobile imaging systems (image sensors, optics, auto-exposure, image signal processor (ISP), etc.).
